Message Failure Management (MFM) Error Reports Overview
The WTIS features the following reports to help you manage failed messages:
Daily Interface Error Summary

The Daily Interface Error Summary report allows you to track the volume and status of failed messages for your facility by site. For a specified day, the report provides the total number of:
- Messages received
- HL7 messages rejected
- Error messages containing unknown procedure codes
- Messages containing one or more other application errors
- Messages processed

Note: Message statuses include Duplicate, Not Started, In Process and Resolved. |
Error Statistics Summary Report

The Error Statistics Summary Report:
- Summarizes interface activity for a facility for a specified month. For each day of the month, it shows the number of failed messages generated as a percentage of the total number of messages sent.
- Shows a breakdown of the failed messages by error code, allowing you to track the most problematic failed messages and assign them to resources for follow-up.
- Provides a Waitlist Entry Category Count which identifies how many failed messages were Surgical, DI or Category Not Available.
ALC Error Statistics Summary Report
The ALC Error Statistics Summary Report:
- Summarizes interface activity for a facility for a specified month. For each day of the month, this report shows the number of failed messages generated as a percentage of the total number of messages sent.
- Breaks down the failed messages by error code, allowing you to track the most problematic failed messages and assign them to resources for follow-up.
- Provides an error type count, which identifies the number of failed messages by error type.
