Revoke User

Revoking a user’s account prevents them from accessing the WTIS using their credentials. Revoke is generally used for staff who no longer work for the organization, it is critical to revoke WTIS accounts a in a timely manner to protect PHI. For staff whose WTIS access needs to be temporarily disabled, use Suspend (i.e. parental leave).

  1. Log into the WTIS.
  2. Look for the user in the Registered Users list.
    Tip: If the Registered User list is lengthy, use Advanced Filters to refine the list (i.e., filter by name).
  3. Click   to revoke a user.
  4. Enter the reason for revoking in the Reason for Request section (e.g., staff resigned).
  5. Click Save.
