Operational Communication

ATC Information Site

The Access to Care (ATC) Information Site is where eCTAS Coordinators can access documents, view call calendars, maintain contact details for hospital operational support resources, and view answers to common questions. eCTAS Coordinators should contact ATC to request access to the site, and attend ATC Information Site Training for instruction on site features (refer to the Call Calendar on the ATC Information Site for session dates or contact your ATC Service Specialist).

eCTAS Coordinators should access and distribute information from the ATC Information Site to their hospital operational support resources as required, for example:

eCTAS Status Page

The status page displays a brief message about the current functionality of the eCTAS application: i.e., operating normally or experiencing an unplanned outage.  It also includes links to support resources.

Options for accessing the status page:

The status page will continue to display a brief message indicating the status of the eCTAS application during unplanned outages

Note: Planned maintenance activities will not be reflected on the Status Page; they are communicated to facilites in advance of scheduled downtimes.

Weekly Bulletin

eCTAS Coordinators and Clinical Leads will receive an email every Monday with a link to the ATC Bulletin posted on the ATC Information Site. The bulletin provides updates on timely and relevant information for all Lines of Business. See the eCTAS section for key dates and activities relevant to eCTAS.

Special Bulletin

Service Interruptions and Restoration Notices

eCTAS Coordinators, Technical Leads, and Hospital Help Desk resources will receive Service Interruption notices by email for all planned or unplanned outages. Service Restoration notices will be sent when service is restored after an unplanned an outage. Any information related to the duration and potential root cause of the outage will be included.

eCTAS Coordinator Calls

Regular touchpoints with ATC and hospitals are held throughout the year for each of our lines of business.

During the eCTAS Provincial Implementation, eCTAS Coordinator Calls will be scheduled periodically for those facilities who have gone live. eCTAS Coordinators will be notified of these dates/times and call details will be provided through the ATC Bulletin and the ATC Call Calendar available on the ATC Information Site.
