HL7 Message Viewer
The HL7 Message Viewer allows hospital Technical Resources (Technical Leads, IT Support, etc.) to monitor HL7 messages and investigate issues. Resources assigned by your Facility Role Administrator to the role of Site integration Administrator at your site can access the HL7 Message Viewer from the Administration Console.

Using the HL7 Message Viewer Technical Resources can:
- Monitor the status and details of HL7 messages
- Validate your hospital/site’s unique workflow
- Troubleshoot issues
- Filter messages by time range
- Drill down to individual HL7 message data to view warnings, alerts and status for troubleshooting

Important: The HL7 Message Viewer can only be accessed if you have been assigned the Site Integration Administrator role by your hospital's eCTAS Facility Role Administrator. Typically resources who are responsible for monitoring HL7 messages are hospital Technical Leads or Help Desk. |

The eCTAS Application Complex Specification document is available on the ATC Information Site. It provides a detailed description of the interface messaging requirements to support integration with the eCTAS application. This is a technical document, intended to aid facilities in the development of system changes that will enable existing hospital information systems to integrate with the eCTAS application.
