ALC Data Quality Management

Access the Data Quality Management Home Page:

  1. Log into the WTIS.  If you have access to more than one WTIS profile, select the appropriate Hospital Coordinator profile from the list.
  2. Select Data Quality Management from the Navigation menu.
  3. The Record Level Data Quality page appears, from here users may:
    1. View ALC Waitlist Entries for Review and use Advanced Filters to refine the list as needed.
    2. Click the WLE ID to view and take Corrective Actions
    3. Export to Excel

ALC Waitlist Entries for Review

The Waitlist Entries for Review section displays Waitlist Entries that are flagged with one or more Record Level Data Quality Indicators, which alerts users of potential data quality issues.  Each column displays information to help inform the user, see descriptions below.

Column Headings Description

WLE ID

Click the WLE ID number to view the WLE details (i.e. indicator details and corrective action options).

Indicator Name

The indicator the WLE is flagged for, see Data Quality Indicators descriptions. If a single WLE is flagged against multiple indicators, it will be listed across multiple rows on the list.

Site

The facility/site associated with the WLE.

Visit #

The Visit # associated with a patient's visit.

Important: the Visit # column does not display when the Navigation Menu is displayed.  To hide the Navigation Menu and make the Visit # column visible, click the  Expand/Collapse button .

Patient Name

Click to see patient demographics.

Designation Date

The date the patient was designated ALC.

Closed Date

The date the patient was discharged or WLE was discontinued.

WLE ID of Duplicate Overlap

If there is a suspected duplicate/overlapping WLE, the WLE ID number of the duplicate/overlapping WLE will appear. Click the WLE ID to view it.

If the duplicate/overlapping WLE is for a facility the user does not have access to,  the message  "Overlap exists in another facility" will appear in the column.

Status

Status of the flagged WLE (closed, open).

RR

If a request for exclusion is rejected, the Exclusion Rejected Reason icon appears.  Hover over the icon to see the reason.

ALC Advanced Filters

Use Advanced Filters to refine the list of Waitlist Entries for Review

  1. Click the Advanced Filters button, all available filters will appear.

  2. Set filter as needed and click the Apply button. The WLEs that meet the parameters will display.

    Filter

    Description

    Indicator Name

    Filter by a specific indicator, options include:

    Site

    Users with access to multiple sites will have the option to view indicators by site.

    Facility

    Users with access to multiple facilities will have the option to view indicators by facility.

    Date Type

    Select a date type to filter by, options include: Closed Date, Designation Date, DQ flagged Date.

    From

    To

     

    Set the date range to be applied if using the Date Type filter.  Use the Calendar button  or manually enter a date (YYYY-MM-DD).

    WLE ID

    Filter by a specific WLE ID number.

    Status

    Filter by WLE status (open or closed).

  3. Click the Clear button to clear applied filters.
