Why Testing is Important.
After submitting procedure map updates, facilities are required to Test their procedure maps. Testing is your opportunity to check the integrity and quality of your whole procedure map. There are many benefits to testing, it ensures that your procedure map is accurate and helps to mitigate the following issues:
- Inaccurate procedure maps migrated into WTIS Production result in increased interface message (MFM) errors.
- These errors may negatively impact your facility’s ability to meet established Ontario Health compliance and data quality standards.

Prerequisites for Testing
All integrations:
- A user account to access the WTIS MPM environment
- An updated procedure map that has been validated and successfully submitted in the MPM tool
Facilities integrated as Complex (Surgery or DI) or Standard (Surgery):
- A connection to the WTIS MPM environment
- A connection to the PCR Conformance environment is required because to successfully conduct testing, you need to create test patients in the PCR Conformance environment and the MPM tool.

Note: The Biz Talk IP address for the WTIS MPM environment: 204.225.36.202 (TCP Port 11000). If you are not able to connect you must go through the connectivity process. For connectivity issues, refer to the WTIS Facility Connectivity Guide and WTIS Facility Connectivity Request Form on the ATC Information SiteATC Information Site. If you cannot access the site, contact your WTIS coordinator.
